How We Got Here
Our Clinic's History
Downtown Foot Clinic was established by Dr. Henry Swearingen in the 1940s. Dr. Terry Kennedy joined Dr. Swearingen's practice in 1984, bringing his surgical skills and diagnostic acumen to the practice. He divided his time between the Downtown Foot Clinic and the Gresham Foot Clinic for over 40 years. In 2021, the practice transfered to Dr. Rae Lantsberger, Dr. Kennedy's longtime friend and associate.
Located in the Selling building, which is just one block from Pioneer Square

Our Clinic Today
Dr. Lantsberger has been in practice in Portland and Gresham Oregon since 1990. She enjoys treating a variety of foot and ankle problems, including plantar fasciitis, overuse injuries, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, fractures and sports injuries.
Dr. Lantsberger graduated with a B.S. in physiology from UC Davis in 1984. After receiving her Doctorate at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, she completed her surgical residency at Holladay Park medical center in Portland.
Dr. Lantsberger enjoys hiking, mountain climbing, running, backpacking, bicycling, reading and relaxing at home with her husband and four cats. She has also recently discovered bicycle commuting, so if you see her on the road, give her a wave!
